ORAL PRESENTATION
(video... COMING SOON)
Observations: I think I did the oral presentation very bad. I don't know what can I do to improve my presentations, but I always get so nervous and I don't know what can I say. I recognise I don't prepare so much the orals because then I can get more nervous if I forget what I've learnt before.
I'd like to improve a lot, but I repeat, I have no idea of what can I do to prepare better what I have to say...

CHARLIE SHEEN ON TWITTER... RUN AWAY!

If you still don't know who's Charlie Sheen I answer your question: do you remember TWO AND A HALF MEN? He's Charlie Harper, bachelor, jingle's songs writer and alcoholic.
In his real life he's a crazy man. He was a really successful actor of the 80's but his crazy life drove him to drugs, rehab, and some mediatic scandals. He ruined his career, and Two and a half men helped him to come back to fame. In 1990, he aaccidentlly shot his fiancee in the arm. Obviously, Preston, the girl, broke off the engagement...
After this episode of his life, he dated a number of adult film actresses, having sex and all that stuff, mixing drugs and other scandals. Five years later he married with another woman, while he was one of the clients of an escort agency.
On 1998 he arrived to the top of his life (getting high) and Sheen overdosed while he was injecting cocaine (just for experimenting. Wtf?). He was hospitalized and then he entered in a rehab clinic.
We can situate Sheen's life now on 2000s, he got married again, but his ex-wife filed for divorce, because she accused Sheen of alcohol and drug abuse and threats of violence.
He ended 2009 again in a rehab center and in jail.
Because of his drug troubles, the sitcom Two and a half men has been "damaged". It had to be on hiatus some times because of the breaks Sheen had to do because of cocaine, but finally CBS&Warner Bros decided to stop Charlie Sheen's services. He was well paid, he signed a agreement to return to the sitcom, and they would pay $1,8 million per episode.
That's what drugs sometimes do. Make you crazy. He can enjoy a good life but mixing these substances are not helping him. Sincerely, I like Two and a half men. It's a fun sitcom and when I see it, I can laugh easily. For this reason, knowing Charlie Sheen (by the way, son of Martin Sheen) does drugs makes me sad, because he's a good actor and he has got a lot of talent.
Now he started being on Twitter, here's the link: http://twitter.com/charliesheen

CAU
Since the last year I started going to a Cau -an escort movement- from Figueres, called Xiprers al Vent with another people of Castelló. We are there because we want to open one here. I've never been b
efore in a place like this, and I like it a lot.
We are all together and there are some words children have always in their minds: respect, help, share and have fun. They don't get angry when they can't catch another kid when we play "mataconills", for example.
Imagine the situation: a lot of children playing like they are home, there's no kid without friends, it's like a huge family! "Caps" (like teachers...) organise activities each Saturday with an objective. They don't do nothing without an objective. For example, I am in the castors' group and we always work on recycling and saving nature.
I won't regret joining this Cau, because the people is so kind, they help us a lot and we try to help them too, but we're not professionals! We do what we can...

GADAFFI...

We could say that Gadaffi has been thirty years having the power. And during these years have been good things to Libya, some bad. But no one has noticed so far that interested in talking about the problems of this country.
Now, all western countries want to give lessons in democracy, progress and tolerance when their interests have been damaged by the revolutions of the citizens of Libya.
Now is when European and American governments are good, liberal and support the revolution against the dictator.
I don't think that this sudden urge to marginalize Gadaffi is selfless, some force that we know they must have promised something more powerful than the mandate of the dictator of Libya, who for thirty years that dominates the different countries concerned in their country.
We all know that Libya has oil. A lot of oil. And we all know that Europe needs tons of oil a day for you, who now is reading this, and I, who is writing it so that you know it, we make a life that we describe as "normal."
The Libyan people have been tortured, censored and forgotten for thirty years and the most powerful countries have silent. I always end up with the same, we are hypocrites, that's it. All governments remain hand in hand behind the great American government, because behind it nothing wrong can ever happen.
Now we are all good and supportive. Spain stops selling weapons to the Gaddafi's armyi Oh, look how good we are! The other countries should learn from us. We have broken a state thanks to the weapons of our country and never ask for forgiveness. Because that's the way how we are: Assh*les. We're still waiting for the forgiveness of all those who committed atrocities seventy years ago that will never arrive. But we remain good and respectful.
We pretend that we are so liberal when we are in the backwards of Europe. We believe we are like God when we help people that need it, and it can't be good in any way. We will pay for this.

MY IDEAL BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND...

I know nobody is perfect and for this reason I haven't got a prototype of the perfect boy or girl, but if I can choose I want someone able to understand me and able to accept me just the way I am. Physically I don't know what kind of boy or girl I like the most, maybe someone like Megan Fox, Lily Loveless or Jeremy Kapone.

THE PODCAST... COMING SOON ;D
MISFITS

Today I want to talk about Misfits, a comedy-drama series about a young offenders forced to work in a community service programme, where they realise they have supernatural powers after a strange storm.
Kelly can read the thoughts of others, Curtis gains the ability

In the first episode, the Misfits are attacked by their probation officer who is affected by the electrical storm, and they kill him in self defense. The principal problem of the first series is trying to stop anything else finding out about the muder. That's why they kill some other people to keep hiding the secret.
Nathan is on community service because he stoled some candies, Kelly fought with another girl, Alisha drove her parent's car without license after doing drugs, Curtis was a famous sportsman but he ruined his carrier because of drugs. Finally, Simon burned a house.
I first saw Misfits some months ago, after watching Skins, because I needed some stories from E4 channel, and now I love it! Nathan, maybe the main character, has a really curious personality and I love it.

Egypt: uninstalling dictator
Egypt’s three-decade ruler Hosni Mubarak has left the country, noting an address he is scheduled to deliver in a few hours is taped, media reports said quoting Presidential sources.
The reports by presidential sources came on Thursday on the heels of remarks by Hossan Badrawi, the general secretary of Egypt's ruling National Democratic Party, who said Mubarak will “probably” address the nation in the evening.
He told state-funded BBC that he hopes Mubarak will transfer power to Vice President Omar Suleiman.
Unconfirmed reports also said Mubarak had already travelled to the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh with his army chief of staff.
Other reports indicated that the Egyptian army has taken over presidential powers, saying it supports the legitimate demands of people and that it is taking measures to protect the people.
Essam al-Erian, a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's biggest opposition group, said he feared that the Egyptian military was staging a coup.
“It looks like a military coup ... I feel worry and anxiety,” he told Reuters. “The problem is not with the president, it is with the regime.”
Egyptian state television showed images of Mubarak sitting behind a desk in silence while Suleiman talked. It was not immediately clear when it was filmed, though the channel said the meeting was happening now.
(Source: here)
It has been a surprise, because yesterday he denied going out of the country. But today, the revolutionaries can celebrate their victory. After thirty years suffering a dictatorship, they are finally free.
But the question I have in my mind is: why we didn't realised Egypt was suffering? I mean, now we are so happy because they have the chance to make a new government team, and, for example, Barack Obama or Zapatero were so proud saying "oh yes, we support the revolutionaries, we must fight for democracy"... really? Nobody noticed Egypt situation since somebody thought it would be a good story to explain on the news around the world. I don't know, maybe I don't know too much about politics but I find this situation so hypocritical.

Human Rights
0. Take the Quiz: do you know about rights? what's your score?
1. What are human rights?
I got maybe 15/41. I couldn't go on because that website doesn't work so good, I only did 28 out of 41 questions.
1. What are human rights?
Human Rights are the rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled.
2. When did human rights start?
3. Why were they created? They were created trying to solve or make up all the crap it happened in that war, for example the jewish genocide and they were created also because they didn't want all this happen again.
4. How many human rights are there? There are 30 rights articles.
5. Which human right were you not familiar with?
Yes, but not so deeply, because everybody tries to do gestures of solidarity, for example with the Third World, because ohhh poor children, they can't eat food, they haven't got water... oh... so sad. Yes, that's so sad. But anybody cares when children in Asia are exploted in some factories sewing on the jeans you are wearing right now, or the girl who will be stoned because in her country girls who drink beer in public are outrageous and they must be dead. Nobody talks about it, we are so hypocrite.
2. When did human rights start?
This started after the II World War. They have started by Roosevelt.
3. Why were they created? They were created trying to solve or make up all the crap it happened in that war, for example the jewish genocide and they were created also because they didn't want all this happen again.
4. How many human rights are there? There are 30 rights articles.
5. Which human right were you not familiar with?
- No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.
6. Choose one human right and discuss:
I've chosen the 2nd article: Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
Everybody talks about equality, everybody has the same rights blahblahblah but everybody knows NOW it can't be possible. Maybe we are equal in front of the law, but we have a lot of prejudices that stop us when we know somebody is different of us. We are so coward and we don't know how can we handle a situation with someone different, if he or she is going to hurt us or something... and it will be difficult changing this fact. Anyway, we are more tolerant than before, that's sure.
7. Are Humans rights relevant in the world today? why?
Yes, but not so deeply, because everybody tries to do gestures of solidarity, for example with the Third World, because ohhh poor children, they can't eat food, they haven't got water... oh... so sad. Yes, that's so sad. But anybody cares when children in Asia are exploted in some factories sewing on the jeans you are wearing right now, or the girl who will be stoned because in her country girls who drink beer in public are outrageous and they must be dead. Nobody talks about it, we are so hypocrite.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

I've finished 2010 in a different way... I always was at home in New Year's Eve, or at grandparents', but this last time I said it was enough, so I innovated my plans!
I went to Girona with a friend of mine, Roser, and with her friends. I only knew three or four guys from the party, who were really kind with me, like the other people.
We went by train to Girona where we found some stupid girls singing inside the coach, but we arrived in a good mental state (joking...).
We had a lot of fun and Clara's parents (we were all in her house) prepared some cute papers where we had to write our wishes to 2011 and burn them.
2010 has been a magical year, my life went better after that year and I won't let this year ruin my life! I hope I can pass 2nd Batxillerat and go to Barcelona.
I want my friends this year, too, because it won't be a fantastic 2011 if they are not by my side!
